For me, the hydroxyzine didn’t do much. If anyone's ever taken hydroxyzine before, please provide an explanation of how it makes you feel and any suggestions? But I need to get a grip on this anxiety because it's just no way to live. At first I thought it wasn’t working but about 15 min later I was totally fine! It's pretty much a stronger version of Benadryl.

Hydroxyzine works wonder for sleeping and anxiety; I think no one can argue against that. Mild dry mouth is the only side effect I feel. Anxiety was gone at that point, but the drowsiness was strong. I went to the ER today to make sure everything was working okay (I was experiencing chest pains) and I told my doctor about my anxiety. For example for me going to a concert or show where you are expected to stay still and quiet, as well as there are others around making small noises, which is very distracting for me.I was freaking out tonight about all project I was trying to get done and tried my new hydroxyzine 10mg(my dr said I could more if I need it). Unfortunately for me I didn't feel comfortable taking it on weeknights for fear of being to sleepy to drive.in my experience, hydroxyzine made me very sleepy but did help with the tight chest/unable to breathe feelings that come with my anxiety. It was a life saver (still is) it just automatically relaxes me to the point of feeling drowsy but nothing a strong coffee cant fix. it also helped my trembling and made me able to focus on something i also liked that it’s not addictive like a benzo (xanax, klonopin) so i don’t freak out about becoming addicted when i take it, even if i have to take it three days in a row. so i dont really know how to go about this... i got a shitload of hydroxyzine 10mg's Yeah, I actually was prescribed 25mg 3-4x a day for vicodin withdrawl.

I have some lying around and I don't have any benzos. Take it with a benzo or an opiate and will add to the buzz nicely.

Its basically the same thing just with mild to moderate anxiolytic properties. Hallucinations, bad reactions, etc.. soooo much. I was very, very sad for a month before we figured out that my new allergy medicine was the culprit.
