The present study was designed to determine the lowest dose of orally administered itraconazole and the shortest duration of therapy necessary for treatment of tinea corporis and tinea cruris. The efficacy and safety of two dos-ages of itraconazole in the treatment of tinea corporis or cruris were compared in a multicentre, randomized, double-blind, parallel-group trial.
